LabDesk is getting ready
LabDesk is lab software for Windows that works without the internet. It runs on one PC and keeps everything on that PC.
What it does today
- Registers patients and finds returning ones by name or phone number.
- Takes results, flags high, low and critical values, and follows age and sex for reference ranges.
- Prints reports on your own letterhead, with a QR code and a short reference code made from the approved values.
- Keeps payments, discounts and what is still due.
- Shows how the lab is doing in an Analytics tab, for Admin and Reception.
- Emails the report PDF from your lab’s own address, or opens WhatsApp Web with the PDF attached through the LabDesk Bridge browser extension. You always press Send yourself.
- Backs up once a day and can restore on a new computer.
- Updates itself, and backs your data up first.
Being tested in a working lab
LabDesk is running next to the lab’s existing software while the results are compared. Reports, payments, updates, backups and sharing have all been tried with real work. What I find in this test goes straight into the next version.
What is next
The public download is coming soon. If you would like to hear when it is ready, message me on Instagram or by email. The contact page has both.
